This is the only prop replica/Doctor Who forum that I have seen that doesn't end up turning into a pissing contest!

                                           Wired-up a temporary fixture in the beacon tonight!

Starting At The Top

                                                       A mock-up for the beacon is done!

The beacon began it's life as a hummingbird feeder, a "jelly-jar" wall lamp, four 1/4"X6" hex bolts, and four acorn nuts.

Next, I tackle the base!

And Thus It Begins...

Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to do this.

At this point in my life, it's time to get off my arse, and do it!!

I'll post pictures along the way to hopefully help anyone else insane enough to want to attempt this sort of thing!
